Simply Baking with Kids: 4 Ingredients
My children always love to bake, and William wanted to make something sweet today that didn’t take a lot of time. We decided on this simple recipe because it didn’t require us to go out and buy anything new, and we only had to have the oven on a short time.
We only needed 1 yellow cake mix, 5 tablespoons of melted butter, 2 eggs, and 2 cups of chocolate chips. I set the oven to 350 degrees. William combined everything and then spread the batter into a long rectangular glass pan. In twenty minutes they were done!
Although it’s been quite a while since I’ve blogged in this space, I’ve been active in the education world, and my role as Principal of Greystone has kept me constantly on the lookout for the very best practices and resources for children.
