Mulondon Organic Skincare Giveaway: Everything's Coming Up Roses!
I'm really excited to write this post because as many of you know I've been a complete fan of Mulondon, the award winning organic skincare range from London for some time now. I blogged about my first experiences with the Lavender Collection here. What I love about the entire range is that they are so much more than skincare products. They are inspired by traditional herbalism and combine pure essential oils with herbal extracts to divinely scent and keep the certified natural ingredients carefully preserved.
I was so pleased with my experience with the Lavender Collection that I looked at some of the other luxurious essences and decided to try The Rose, Rosehip, and Rosemary Collection. It consists of a rose, rosehip, and rosemary moisturizer and foaming cleanser.
The cleanser is a luxury foaming cleanser with rose otto oil, rosehip extract, and rosemary extract all blended in a base of certified organic soap. It's amazing to see, smell and feel this light and fluffy formula and really great to know I'm nourishing my skin with so many nutrients. I love the fact that all the cleansers from Mulondon are free from SLSs and detergents, so that they gently clean without stripping the skin of its natural oils.
The moisturizer is 100% organic with rose otto oil, rosehip extract, and rosemary antioxidant. It's all blended together in a base of certified organic shea butter, coconut butter, and golden jojoba oil to pamper, nourish and balance dry, irritated and sensitive skin. The ruby red rosehip extract feeds the skin and encourages a healthy shimmer and rosy glow while the pure rose otto oil creates a deep, relaxing sensation of heavenly scented velvety softness.
This is my second White Chocolate Truffle Moisturizer because it's too addictive and I decided I will always need to smell like a decadent French pastry and have buttery soft skin. I recently took my second bottle along on my trip and Florida and I looked forward to using it every morning and night at our resort.
So, here's what I'm super excited about. I've teamed up for a Mulondon Giveaway with the amazing Boris, who created this range as a result of years of being fascinated with medicinal plants their properties and their Latin names. While growing up his mom taught him which natural remedy to use in case of bruises, cuts, bumps and upset stomach. Later, Boris lived, worked and studied at a biodynamic farm in Sweden and grew more aware of the connections we all have, to each other, to Mother Nature, and to the world around us. When a combination of stress, lack of sun and genes caused Boris to develop psoriasis and eczema he didn't want to rely on prolonged use of steroid creams so he went back to his roots and read everything he could about natural skincare, herbs and essential oils. This led to him making his own lotions and balms, based on old proven recipes, things he learned from childhood and from the biodynamic farm and his own intuition. I'm so glad he worked so hard because now we have Mulondon. And this giveaway.
