I tend to wear a lot of Maxi Dresses in the spring and summer and I've blogged about quite a few of them. This year I found many at Shein. I was excited to find and also to blog about the Open Back Printed Kimono Wrap Maxi, the Halter Laser Cut Backless Maxi and my favorite of the three, the Black Halter Top Open Back Maxi. All of them are favorites I reach for whether I am attending a garden party, barbecue, or just entertaining at home.
I was searching on my Shein app for something similar, but of course different and unique for when inevitably the weather will turn colder and we will all be hunting for layers and heavier pieces. I will definitely be making good use of the summer dresses I have by layering tights, boots, jackets and scarves and I'm sure I will share some of them here but I wanted a dress that was perfect for Autumn on its own without having to restyle a summer look. I wanted a dress that had warm, earthy colors but also a feminine print with an elegant silhouette. I was hoping to find a dress with long sleeves in a fabric that was heavier enough to be warm without a sweater but with details that would allow for versatility. I definitely found all that with this Long Sleeve Floral Maxi Dress. I love the fact that on its own it's totally fine and beautiful but you can also change it up with different belts, shoes and layers over and under. For this look I unbuttoned the top and put a black crop top under it.
I added a belt from Target and these amazing J.Adams rose gold pixie pumps from my new favorite website for shoes, Zooshoo! I've teamed up with Zooshoo for a giveaway so be sure to look for my Instagram post announcing it! Two people will win their own pair of J.Adams shoes! My bag is the Mia from the Oliver Bilou company and I love the mix of smooth and quilted materials and I adore how the rose gold accents coordinate so well with my pixie shoes and also with my charming little rose gold elephant necklace. I recently discovered Murandum and I immediately fell in love with the jewelry selection. This little elephant symbolizes good luck and wisdom and it's also adorable! I love wearing it and I know a lot of you were curious when I showed it on my instastories. It comes in rose gold, silver and gold and it's my personal lucky charm. I also have the anchor necklace in gold and the karma necklace in silver. You will see both of those soon in future blog posts and all three on all my Social Media pages but go ahead and search the Murandum Collection for yourself and be sure to follow the brand for inspiration and daily updates here.
My Monforti came with these three different leather bands. I love the elegance of the Roman Numeral design and also how versatile this timepiece is. Monforti combines Italian design with Swiss Movement for extraordinary style and workmanship.
My anchor ring is from @stilnest where I have found several unique and elegant accessories lately.
I posted an Instastory the other day when I wore this outfit in preparation for this post. A lot of people, and I appreciate you all VERY much, liked the way my hair was styled. I'm really glad my hair is finally getting long again and I've been using a couple new products at home in between salon visits.
My Original Silk CHI Ceramic Styling Iron and my Biosilk Silk Therapy can both be found at Ulta Beauty. I like these particular products because they are both proof that less is more. I can get a smooth, silky look within minutes without having to apply heat to my hair for too long or use lots of product.
What do you think? Am I planning too far ahead and should I just stick to summer fashion since it's summer? Don't worry! Trust me, I have all kinds of summertime outfits and ideas to share within the next couple of months. This is just one glimpse into my Fall style and one of the ideas I wanted to share now since I know this dress will go quickly because it's on SALE!
Thank you so much for your time and attention! I truly appreciate it.
