This is How I Sunday: Ethical Luxury with Angela Roi
Sunday. For some it may mean brunch. For others it might be a day of rest. This Sunday Mini handbag is named for the most precious day of the week by the Angela Roi brand, a company known for its line of ethical luxurious designer vegan handbags. I was completely delighted by the shape and design of the Sunday Mini as soon as I saw it and honestly wanted to immediately order it in every color available. I could picture myself pairing the bordeaux with black, grey, ivory and navy and also thought the light grey , black, and cognac would be incredibly fabulous with so many colors, styles and prints and also practical colors for a handbag. I'm still thinking about all of those options but for now I am extremely content and pleased with my Sunday Mini in pink.
I was inspired by my new Sunday Mini to plan a few new outfits for some special events I will be attending in June. All three of the dresses here are from Thredup and I've with them all several times but I definitely think my new Sunday Mini gives each of them a touch of class, sophistication and a modern flair. To me they seem like entirely new outfits.
I added my most recent necklace from Artisan Jewelry Designer, Sue Fontana to this outfit. You may recognize her name and necklaces from when I wore and wrote about them here and here. I adore the collection at Aries Artistic Jewelry and always think about the care and precise craftmenship that goes into each piece every time I wear any of her necklaces.
This, most recent addition to my quickly growing collection is one I am really having trouble taking off. This fine silver elegant pearl necklace sports an organic shaped pendant giving it a playful feel and delicately cradles a peacock freshwater pearl that sits in a pool of silver for that sophisticated, classy touch. It is complemented with a satin sterling silver chain that reflects the soft matte feel of the silver on the pendant. Sue created the stepping stone necklaces with versatility in mind, so they could be worn with jeans or the most sophisticated little black dress and I agree 100%. I love how mine looks with this little colorful cocktail dress from Thredup.
These are a couple more examples of her stepping stone necklaces but you will be amazed by Sue's entire Pearls of Wisdom collection found here.
My stockings are from Leg Appeal and have a subtle dot pattern that is not obvious but close up adds a fun dimension to a look. I am wearing them here and with the turquoise dress. Find the complete collection from Leg Appeal here.
I had so much fun styling the Sunday Mini bag from Angela Roi. What do you think? How do you Sunday? Which color would you choose or would you prefer the larger Sunday Tote Classic? Find it here and let me know!
Thank you so much for your time and attention. I truly appreciate it and would love to connect. Please feel free to leave me a comment, email or even a link if you have something to share. I will get back to you in a timely fashion.
